Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy is a multi-functional treatment that involves injection of carbon dioxide gas into and below the skin to stimulate rejuvenating effects.

When carbon dioxide gas is injected into the skin, it has the effect of stimulating collagen production so can be used to treat stretch marks and skin laxity, as well as fine lines and wrinkles.

Carboxytherapy is used to treat skin issues such as laxity, fine lines and wrinkles and stretch marks, and can be used to treat cellulite and help reduce stubborn areas of fat on the body and under the chin (‘submental fat’)

Carboxytherapy can be used on any area that has stretch marks, cellulite or fine lines however the most common are the eyes to improve fine lines and stretch marks on the glutes, hips and breasts.

Carboxytherapy can be used alongside many of our other body treatments such as Morpheus8, Profhilo Body and Aqualyx.

There can be raised bumps or slight redness from injection points but this usually subsides within a couple of hours. With any injectables there is always a chance that bruising and/or swelling can occur which would usually arise within 48 hours from treatment.
