DR. ALANA CHRISTIE

Dr. Alana is a highly qualified NHS Consultant and Aesthetic Physician with extensive medical expertise spanning over 15 years. After graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2008, she enhanced her medical education through elective placements in Malta and Sydney, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Developmental Medicine, with specialised focus on the embryological basis of anatomy.

Since joining the NHS in 2008 and being appointed as a Consultant in 2021, Dr. Alana has developed a unique dual specialty as both a paediatrician and an inherited metabolic/mitochondrial disorders consultant. This distinctive background provides her with exceptional attention to detail and a gentle, patient-centred approach that translates perfectly to aesthetic medicine.

Her expertise in managing complex biochemical and cellular processes, combined with comprehensive understanding of how metabolism, energy production, and cellular health influence overall well-being and ageing, informs her holistic approach to aesthetic treatments. Dr. Alana takes particular interest in skin care and skin rejuvenation, with special emphasis on treatments tailored for menopausal women.
