Treatments for Crow's Feet

Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Anti-Wrinkle Injections are one of the most popular treatments when targeting crow’s feet, involving the careful and precise injection of Botulinum Toxin into the orbicularis oculi muscle to reduce movement in the area, relaxing muscle activity. Existing crow’s feet are visibility softened and future fine lines in the area are effectively prevented, giving a lifted, smoothed and natural result.

Morpheus8

Morpheus8 delivers impressive results in targeting crow’s feet, pairing radiofrequency energy with Microneedling to tighten and lift the skin. Using ablative radiofrequency through gold coated microneedles, elastin and collagen is stimulated to reduce the signs of ageing and improve skin quality, reducing fine lines and wrinkles from the inside out and allowing the skin to ‘bounce back’ following muscle movement. We recommend two sessions for optimal results, with occasionally a third at the six-month mark.

Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides work excellently when placed around the eye area, improving skin quality and reducing the appearance of crow’s feet through tightening and hydrating the layers of the skin.

ULTRACLEAR® Mapping

Utilising revolutionary fractional laser technology, UltraClear delivers dramatic skin rejuvenation, effectively reducing the appearance of crow’s feet. Through the stimulation of collagen and elastin, as the body’s natural healing response is triggered, the skin is thickened, elasticity improved and fine lines are reduced.

ULTRACLEAR® Lift

Utilising revolutionary fractional laser technology, UltraClear delivers dramatic skin rejuvenation, effectively reducing the appearance of crow’s feet. Through the stimulation of collagen and elastin, as the body’s natural healing response is triggered, the skin is thickened, elasticity improved and fine lines are reduced.

Skincare for crow's feet

What are crow's feet?

Crow’s feet, or lateral canthal rhytides, form as a consequence of repeated muscle contractions around the eyes, alongside a loss in collagen and elastin. Due to the delicate nature of the skin around the eyes, creasing is often far more prevalent, continuing to thin as we age and increasing risk of crow's feet formation.

Natural collagen loss contributes predominantly to the risk of crow's feet, as our natural elasticity depletes with age, and the skin loses its ability to recoil following movement. Whilst this is an unavoidable natural process, a loss in collagen can be further accelerated by lifestyle factors such as sun exposure, leading to UV damage, and smoking, breaking down collagen fibres and skin firming proteins.

Whilst frown lines are common, they can be both prevented and treated with the right in-clinic treatments and anti-ageing skincare. Get in touch to find out about which treatments might be most suited to you.
