Acne Scarring Treatments
Acne scarring can be difficult to prevent, occurring following acne flare ups and commonly associated with pigmentation, inflammation and texture irregularities. We offer a range of treatments aimed at both targeting the cause of acne and the scars that it can leave behind.
TREATMENTS FOR acne scarring
01ULTRACLEAR™
+
UltraClear™ is a revolutionary breakthrough in laser technology, designed to effectively treat acne scars and improve skin texture. An innovation in its field, UltraClear™ creates controlled, fractional micro-injuries without causing thermal damage to the surrounding tissue. This advanced approach resurfaces the skin, reorganising and regenerating collagen fibres for smoother texture, removing damaged skin layers and stimulating collagen production. Results see a significant improvement of scars and a smoother, tighter looking complexion.
02Morpheus8 Resurfacing
+
Morpheus8 Resurfacing uses an advanced blend of bipolar radiofrequency and microneedling to treat the appearance of acne scars, ideal for rolling and atrophic acne scarring. Uncoated titanium microneedles are penetrated 0.5mm into the dermis, heating and resurfacing the skin and dramatically improving disrupted collagen structures. The targeting of post inflammatory irregularities in skin texture and tone leads to visible improvement in quality of the skin, as new collagen forms the skin becomes firmer, more even and smother overall.
03Subcision
+
Our subcision treatment is particularly effective in individually treating deep pitted acne scars, performed with a thin needle that is directed towards dermis layer of the skin to release scar bands, cutting through scar tissue to release it from the deeper tissue. We then inject filler under each individual scar to smooth the skin and prevent the reformation of scar bands, smoothing the skin.
04Microneedling
+
Microneedling remains an incredibly impactful method when treating acne scars,in which controlled trauma to the skin is caused to stimulate collagen and trigger the body’s natural healing process. Through the stimulation of collagen and elastin, the skin gains back elasticity andheals texture irregularities, in turn improving the visibility of acne scars.
