Profhilo Structura is specifically formulated to achieve deep structural remodeling. Profhilo Structura involves injections of mixed moleular weight Hyaluronic Acid in the upper cheek area. Before administering the injections, our practitioners will assess the patient's facial features, including cheekbone prominence, areas of volume loss, skin laxity, and overall skin quality. This tailored approach ensures optimal placement of the product.

Profhilo's effectiveness stems from its unique formulation of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. Once injected, this structured hyaluronic acid spreads beneath the skin, forming a thin layer that hydrates and rejuvenates the tissue. The high molecular weight component provides immediate hydration and volumising effects, while the low molecular weight hyaluronic acid penetrates deeper, stimulating collagen and elastin production.

This dual-action mechanism not only improves skin hydration but also enhances skin elasticity and firmness over time. The treatment is minimally invasive, typically causing little discomfort and requiring no significant recovery time. Most patients can return to their regular activities immediately after the procedure, making it a convenient option for those with busy lifestyles.

Profhilo Structura can be used in conjunction with many other treatments in clinic including our facials and injectables. Morpheus8 is commonly performed with Profhilo, either together in one session or in separate sessions. Both treatments stimulate the dermis to produce collagen and improve skin elastcity, so have synergistic benefits. For less invasive treatments to have alongside Profhilo, opt for our Mesotite Facial, Mesotherapy or Forma treatments which further support skin tightening and the production of collagen.

Downtime is minimal with Profhilo Structura. Little 'bumps' appear at the injection points but these usually settle within 6-12 hours and this is a normal and expected appearance. They tend to be more prominent in areas where the skin is thinner, for example on the neck. These 'bumps' can be massaged to encourage them to settle. With any injectables there is always a chance of bruising and/or swelling which may occur within a few hours of the treatment, most often resolving within 24-48 hours. Antihistamines can be taken to reduce the risk of swelling, and sleeping propped up on your back on the night of treatment will help reduce this risk further. To reduce the risk of bruising we suggest that you avoid omega-3 fatty acid supplements, blood thinners and alcohol for 48 hours prior to your injectable treatments.
