Treatments for Skin Rejuvenation

Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides are known for their regenerative properties. They are injected into the skin to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin in the dermis of the skin, helping to repair and rejuvenate tired skin. They soften the signs of ageing by decreasing the appearance of fine lines

whilst also hydrating and plumping the skin to give it that youthful glow.

The treatment involves injection at several points in the target area and minimal downtime, so you can carry on with your day knowing that your skin is taken care of.

Expect a healthy, hydrated and glowing complexion with improved elasticity.

Microneedling

When skin is  looking tired and dull, Microneedling, a non-surgical procedure for

facial rejuvenation, can help to improve skin quality. It does this through the creation of micro-injuries to the dermis and epidermis of the skin, two layers of the skin.

These micro-injuries stimulate elastin and collagen production, resulting in skin tightening and improved skin flexibility for a

more youthful appearance.

Microneedling is used primarily on the face and neck but it can be used anywhere on the body.

Morpheus8

Morpheus8 can help to rejuvenate tired skin

due to its unique combination of microneedling and radiofrequency energy. The microneedling component of Morpheus8 creates controlled micro-injuries, which triggers the body's natural healing response and stimulates collagen an elastin production.

Simultaneously, the radiofrequency energy tightens and contours the skin by heating the deeper layers. This dual approach not only

helps to smooth out lines on the skin but it also improves overall skin texture and tone. By boosting collagen and tightening the skin, Morpheus8 can effectively help to rejuvenate skin and deliver a smoother, more flawless

appearance.

What are skin rejuvenation treatments?

Life can take its toll on your skin; after all, as the body’s first line of defence, the skin has to work tirelessly to protect us from the environment around it.

Sun exposure and pollution will all have an impact on the

quality of skin but stress, an unhealthy diet and even a lack of sleep can have

an impact. And let’s not forget the other habits which can wreak havoc on skin

such as smoking and too much alcohol.

All these factors can cause collagen and elastin, two structural proteins within the skin, to break down. This can cause skin to look dull and lifeless. You may experience uneven texture, pigmentation issues and

fine lines and wrinkles too. Your skin is crying out for some TLC, but luckily at Dr David Jack, we offer a range of skin rejuvenation treatments to give your skin a boost. From laser skin rejuvenation to microneedling, let us give your skin the care it deserves.
