AFTER YOUR MORPHEUS8 TREATMENT

Immediate Post-Treatment (0–24 hours)

- No makeup and skincare products (including cleansers and moisturisers) should be used on the skin at this stage.

- You may wash the area and pat dry with a clean towel

- Avoid exercise and hot showers to avoid heightening discomfort

Your skin is likely to be red in appearance and feel hot and tender, lasting anywhere between 12-48 hours depending on your skin type. Bruising and swelling may occur and will usually subside within 3-5 days, dependent on your skin type. We recommend applying topical arnica cream for bruising and taking non-drowsy antihistamines to reduce swelling, alongside avoiding consumption of substances containing histamines, such as alcohol.

Short-Term (1–2 days post treatment)

-  Apply All Day Long SPF 50+ daily, however refrain from any other skincare product or makeup

-  Continue to use water to wash the face and pat dry

Swelling and redness should be settling down, alongside tenderness. Bruising may still be visible, so an arnica cream can be continually applied.

Day 3 – 14 post treatment

On day 3 following your treatment you may continue with a broad-spectrum SPF and resume your normal skincare

-  Continue to avoid retinols and actives if you skin is feeling sensitive.

Your skin should be feeling back to normal, however, bruising and swelling may be visible. If we feel like it's necessary for your healing, to settle swelling and bruising, we might offer a complimentary LED session, so please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Downtime and results of Morpehus 8

Redness, and possibly swelling or brusing, will occur for up to 5 days after your Morpheus8 treatment.

You will start seeing results from Morpheus8 after 2 weeks. Collagen and elastin production continues for up to 3–6 months, gradually improving skin texture and firmness.

Morpheus8 results can last up to 18 months, but longevity varies based on individual factors such as aging, lifestyle habits (e.g. smoking, sun exposure), skincare, and overall health.

For optimal long-term maintenance, we recommend an annual follow-up treatment to preserve results and address any emerging concerns. Your practitioner can provide a personalized treatment plan based on your skin's specific needs.
