Fractora™ is a powerful anti-ageing treatment that tightens and lifts the skin leaving your complexion smoother, youthful and radiant. It is one of the most popular non-surgical treatments in the USA and is the latest FDA-approved non-surgical skin rejuvenating and anti-ageing system to reach the UK.
What is Fractora™ Skin Resurfacing?
Using the most advanced bipolar radio-frequency technology, Fractora™ Skin Resurfacing reduces the appearance of fine wrinkles and produces a lifting effect to the face, as well as evening out discolouration in the skin.
What are the benefits of Fractora™ Skin Resurfacing?
Benefits include skin tightening and minimising of fine lines and wrinkles particularly the smile lines, jawline, cheeks, eye area and neck. It minimises pigmentation, resurfaces and refines skin tone and will improve the appearance of stretch marks and scars.
How does Fractora™ Skin Resurfacing work?
Fractora™ delivers radio frequency (RF) energy to the skin through an array of pins producing localized heat and small micro-lesion dots in the sub-dermal tissue. This creates hundreds of tiny wounds in the skin that stimulate the body to heal, promoting collagen restructuring and tightening the skin.

FAQ's
Dr David Jack will spend time talking through the treatment with you and answering any questions you might have. Dr. Jack offers a versatile fractional treatment that can provide non-ablative or minimally ablative results up to 2 mm in depth.
After assessment and consent, either a strong topical local anaesthetic cream will be applied for around 40 minutes or injections of local anaesthetic will be administered.
When the skin is suitably numb, it will be cleaned with antiseptic and Fractora will be applied to the skin. At this stage it is anticipated there may be some pin-point bleeding but pain should be minimal.
After the whole area is treated, it will be cleaned again and some antiseptic may be applied.
Depending on the depth of treatment and the intensity of the radiofrequency applied through the Fractora pins, around 3-7 days of downtime are expected with this treatment. The first day or so following treatment will usually be associated with swelling and redness and usually were will be some scab formation around the pin sites on the skin. These usually will disappear by day 7. Dr. Jack often recommends the use of an oxygenating mineral based makeup to aid healing in the immediate post-treatment period.
Depending on the results required and skin laxity, between one and four treatments are required for optimal results. Body treatments such as the abdomen usually require 4 treatments for the best results.
Often in the immediate phase following Fractora, the skin will look glowing and radiant, however, the longer term remodelling and lifting of the skin can take up to 6 months. Usually the best results are seen at this stage.
Fractora resurfacing creates a permanent increase in collagen and elastin levels, however, ongoing damage by UV light and other ageing processes mean that it is often advisable to repeat the treatment every few years to keep the skin looking its best.
Fractora™ can be combined with Platelet Rich Plasma and Mesotherapy treatments for an intense rejuvenating effect on the skin.
Dr Jack would be delighted to discuss your requirements and create a personalised treatment package tailored specifically for you.
WHAT DAVID’S CLIENTS SAY
After having Botox for many years I have recently gone ahead with the fractora treatment on my whole face. Not only has David done an amazing job but most importantly kept me feeling totally secure and calm during the process. I had little to no swelling or bruising afterwards and I usually bruise like crazy.
